Active Travel On Film
Following the huge success of our Active Travel Ambassador (ATA) students securing funding at the Modeshift Active Travel Campaign event in Beverley last month, students at Cottingham High School and Sixth Form College and Wolfreton School and Sixth Form College had the opportunity to participate in a promotional video for active travel.
Modeshift and East Riding Council have come together to create a promotional video to advertise the development schools have made to their campaigns and to influence other schools to make a positive difference in their local communities.
Cottingham High School have introduced a QR code at bus stops locally to their school which inspires students to be more active when travelling to school.
Students at Wolfreton School have received bike donations from Revolution which will be used as prizes for students who participate in their Big Wolf Walk campaign which takes place on Friday 23 June.
Both Cottingham High and Wolfreton School ATA students took part in the filming process which included filming their campaign strategies, walking and cycling into the school grounds and creating smoothies on the smoothie bike!
