TCAT celebrates Anti-Bullying Week with Odd Socks Day.
Odd Socks Day marked the start of Anti-Bullying Week and students and staff across our Trust got involved to celebrate what makes us all unique and spread kindness last week.
Today was an opportunity to encourage learners and staff to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique!
The festivities didn’t just stop at Odd Socks. Learners also took part in thought-provoking activities across the classroom regarding bullying and how to be a good friend.
This was all in aid of the Anti-Bullying alliance who:
-
Help teachers and professionals working with children and young people to tackle bullying
-
Develop support for parents and carers on how to protect and support their children
-
Influence and improve national policy on bullying so that the UK is a world leader in preventing bullying
Well done to all students and staff who got involved today!
